Kayse: maternity

Several weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting up with Kayse & Jon.  They are weeks away from holding their first born.  Jon is in the Marines working towards becoming a chaplain for the military and Kayse is a teacher.  They are an adorable couple.  They were in their first year of marriage when they found out Emily Ann was on the way.  Their photo shoot was filled with newlywed bliss and baby anticipation.  I loved the feel of the whole afternoon.  They are fun-loving, easy going, and so in love.  Kayse it was my pleasure getting to meet you and take photos of your family of two, almost three.  You will make the most precious mom.  Your home is full of a God given peace and kindness...Emily Ann will thrive under your care.
God is so good in making you her mommy.

Congratulations Jon & Kayse.
May God's presence fill the room as dear Emily Ann makes her way into the world.  And I pray that you will experience anew the deep love your Abba has over you, his children,
as you hold and love your own for the first time.
Sweet, sweet joy.

See you soon.
Love, Lindsay

The Beatty Family

Here are the Beatty's:  Bo, Carrie & Tressa.
Bo is the reason my husband coaches football.  They met 12 years ago in the APU weight room and they have been friends and co-workers ever since, coaching defense together for Azusa Pacific University.  Carrie and I know what it feels like to have football husbands that see each other & X's & O's more for the summer & fall than they see us. Two weekends ago Carrie & I cheered together and froze together in 1 degree weather for their first playoff game in years.  To watch our husbands' hard work reap this kind of post season reward-I don't think we would have traded the experience for anything, frozen toes and all.
We snuck in this photo shoot before our trip to the North Pole, I mean Montana.
Tressa is 3.  On the way to the location she sang us songs from her preschool Christmas show.  It was more than precious.  There is almost nothing more sweet to my ears than little voices singing love songs to Jesus.
God knows what he is doing when he brings people and families together. They are a wonderful family: they laugh a lot, can be full of sillies, and love each other a lot too. Tressa your mommy & daddy think the world of you, and I got the feeling you feel the exact same way about them too :)
My husband and I are grateful for you Bo, Carrie & Tressa,
and we are so thankful God crossed our paths.
