The Loumagne Family

The lid is off the Loumagne Family pictures...at least just a few of them.

These are dear friends of our family...we go to church, share a boat & camp together, Steve has helped us put our house together, Sara babysits for my kids, Carol loves on them like they live under her roof, Mike makes funny faces at my second daughter, Megan lends her lap at football games, and the list can go on and on!! All that being said I love this family and I hope my family looks just like theirs someday. They love the Lord and His life shines through their smiles.

3 generations...

We had a little Charlie's Angels inspired action at the end. The progression of this picture was hilarious and truly showed the differences in each sibling.

Everybody is warming up here...

and hit their poses right here...POW!

Carol and her mom.
Getting to take their picture was precious joy for me.

Still under wraps...

Here is a little somethin' from a family photo shoot I did with the Loumagne family. Seen here, keeping a lid on the rest of the pictures is Sara-the youngest of four classy Loumagne kids.
More are on their way!

The Martinez Family

I have known Wendy for just around ten years.
When we met, her youngest was barely crawling and her oldest was just starting kindergarten, so, you can imagine the fun it was for me to take their pictures with ten years added to each of them.
In those ten years, Wendy and I have played Bunco and gone to Beth Moore conferences together, we have done Bible studies and spent time with dear friends praying for our children and husbands.
I value the example she sets of a godly mom and she has a heart that is so tender and genuine.
Here are a few pictures of her sweet family:

You may look at this picture and wonder why on earth of all the pictures would I pick one of hands. Hands are special to me. They hold memories and are filled with a lifetime of stories. These two hands are Wendy's and her daughter Brenna's.
I love the wedding band matched with the hippness of a high schooler.
My grandparents on my mom's side have both passed away, but one thing that forever will be etched in my mind are their hands. While I wish I had a picture of them to forever freeze them in time, I can remember them clear as day-my oldest daughter has my grandma's hands.

Lastly, meet Winston. He is for real...and oooh so soft!
I had a little fun with this one...I love a little old fashioned fun!

Sweet, sweet baby Oliver

This was my first ever baby photo shoot and what a blast! My dear friend Brenda is such a sport and is up for just about anything-even bringing her sweet 6 day old baby over to my digs. It was precious for me to see the newness of life being cradled in mommy's arms.
Here are a few shots from our morning together.

Oliver's daddy loves to play guitar.
This was one of the happiest places Oliver cuddled up in during our shoot.

If this happy couple looks familiar...it's because we got together just about a month ago to take pictures of their growing family of four just before Oliver arrived on the scene. For a stroll down memory lane, you can visit their entire family, here.

In daddy's care.

Kansas bound! The Wedel Family

Here are the Wedels. Rees & Korina have been apart of our lives for the last 6 years. When we first met they were newly married. Today they are a family of four and are headed to Kansas to raise their little kiddos. We will miss you Wedel family!!

Rees has music flowing through his veins. When Korina & Rees were dating and when we first met this special couple, Rees was working at Guitar Center. Here are a few pictures from his old stomping grounds...his girls have the same love for music and beats.

Reese & Korina you have a beautiful family and we love you from the inside out!
May God take your precious & willing hearts and use them to His glory in Kansas.

The Anderson Family

Meet the Anderson family!
I am new to photography, so, getting to shoot a family of seven with 5 kids 6 and under, definitely put me to the test! Here are just a few from our time together...

Amazing, the handiwork of God, to put eyes so beautifully deep brown...

....to eyes so beautifully bright blue, in the same family!

This photo makes me laugh b/c it so perfectly captures the essence of what the Anderson household holds...Capri Suns and apples became a must-have through our time together :)

The oldest of the bunch watch on as my kids wrestle...
it wasn't long before these two jumped in on the action!

Lastly, no one hugs my husband, quite like his buddy, Dave.

The Konoske Family

The Konoske's are an adorable family and are just going to get more adorable when #3 arrives in November. The five of us trekked our church campus (Church of the Open Door) in 105 degree heat. We probably covered 2 miles of hilly ground and we were praising God for the little red wagon that served more as transportation, than for photo ops!! Elliot and Libby were champs and endured 2 hours of my camera lens. Here are a few fun pictures from our evening together.

An Assistant: Erin & Michael

Last night I had a blast getting to assist a good family friend and photographer Rod Foster. Rod once youth pastored with my hubby and Rod's wife is the fabulous realtor who helped us buy our home. I was anxious to get out of the "abode in progress" and to pick up a camera again, instead of a piece of sheet rock.
I learned a ton, watched how Rod laid out & planned the shoot, what spots he picked to shoot Erin & Michael in and why, and how to guide a couple through a photo shoot. I also got to take quite a few pictures and here is a snipit of a few from the beach portion of the shoot:

Summer is almost here

Time to break out those dancing shoes...

hop on a swing barefoot...

...and live in polka dots, instead of school uniforms!!

And there is nothing as great as laying in the grass dressed as Snow White...

Summer break starts in 2 days and my 1st grader couldn't be more ready!!
